Salesforce consulting and implementation for companies in Guatemala

We configure Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and more for Guatemalan companies growing faster than their sales operations can sustain.

Business evolution in Guatemala

Guatemala has the largest economy in Central America and keeps growing above the regional average. That growth is reaching companies that still manage their customer portfolio in Excel, visit notebooks, and WhatsApp groups between salespeople. It works while the company is small.

It stops working when it's time to open a branch outside the capital, add an export line, or answer a bank asking for organized numbers to approve a credit line.

Critical business scenarios

01

Visibility disconnect

A sales manager who doesn't know how many opportunities his team has open — only what each salesperson tells him at the Monday meeting.

02

Generational handover

A family business transferring leadership to the next generation that needs customer knowledge in a system, not in one person's head.

03

Export control

A company exporting coffee, sugar, bananas, or manufactured goods that needs to follow up with buyers in several countries without losing the thread of each negotiation.

04

Special Regime Zones

A business that started selling to shared services centers or industry in free zones (ZDEEP) and suddenly needs processes and reports at the level that kind of client demands.

05

Multichannel service

A customer service team that grew in Guatemala City and now has to answer inquiries from the interior, by phone, WhatsApp, and social media, without missing any.

Real cases

Salesforce projects we delivered in Guatemala

A sample of projects Zarasa implemented for companies in the country. For confidentiality, we do not publish our clients’ names.

HealthcareService Cloud

Full traceability for medical claims and reimbursements

A company that processes medical claims and reimbursements needed to structure its case operation, which moves through technician, medical and quality control queues. We implemented Service Cloud with case types and stages, queues and assignment rules, approvals simulating the handoffs between queues, and Entitlements with Milestones to control response times.

How we solved it

Service Cloud with queues, assignment rules, approval processes, Entitlements with Milestones and Omni-Channel routing supported by flows, delivered with workshops, on-site training and full technical documentation.

Manufacturing / RetailSales Cloud + Experience Cloud + Platform

B2B and B2C operation connected to SAP with a store portal

A paint manufacturing group with B2B and B2C channels needed to connect its Salesforce sales operation with SAP and strengthen its store community portal. We built the SAP integration to update open and closed items and auto-create products, plus forms, audience-based reports and notification flows following the approved process design.

How we solved it

SAP integration in Apex (batches and Queueables with unit tests) plus declarative configuration: forms and flows, dashboards with audiences and community portal improvements, with bulk data loads and validated change sets.

PharmaceuticalSales Cloud + Salesforce Maps

Medical reps digitized, from route planning to payment

A pharmaceutical company needed to digitize its medical reps’ field work, from route planning to sales and payment capture. We implemented the full process with Sales Cloud and Salesforce Maps — routes, check-in/check-out, customer classification, unit products and bundles — plus a per-rep inventory solution built with custom objects.

How we solved it

Sales Cloud with Salesforce Maps for routes and visits, custom objects and flows for per-rep inventory, data imports for physicians and pharmacies, reporting, and a robust package of videos, manuals and post go-live support.

Tourism & hospitalitySales Cloud

Collections integrated with the bank and e-invoicing

A vacation club needed to connect its receivables operation in Salesforce with Guatemala’s electronic invoicing system (FEL), its bank and the Central Bank exchange rate. Zarasa led the project end to end: API definition with the bank, integration architecture and flows that process bank files to generate invoices, items and payments linked to contracts.

How we solved it

API integrations with the bank, FEL and the Central Bank combined with flows, LWC components and platform events, managed with weekly meetings, on-site support for data migration and technical training for the client’s team.

Why Salesforce in Guatemala?

Guatemala combines a consolidated agro-export sector with industry and services growing faster than agriculture. That means many Guatemalan companies no longer sell only within their borders: they export, serve corporate clients in several countries, or are part of the supplier chain of international companies established in the country.

Salesforce organizes exactly that kind of operation: it provides a single view of the customer regardless of whether the relationship started in Zona 10, at a trade fair in Mexico, or on a call from Miami.

It also answers a very concrete need in the Guatemalan market: banks and financial institutions increasingly demand traceability and organized data to approve credit or investment lines. A company that can clearly show its sales pipeline and customer service history arrives at those conversations in a better position.
