Salesforce Audit · Construction · Costa Rica & Guatemala

Your construction company already pays for Salesforce. Make it earn its keep.

In two weeks we review how a lead comes in, how a unit is quoted, how the contract is signed, how the unit is handed over and how it gets paid. We tell you the five problems costing you most, what they cost, and what to do in the next 90 days. It also works if you are not on Salesforce yet and are evaluating it: you leave with a concrete plan instead of a generic quote.

Does any of this sound familiar?

These are the five situations we see most often in construction companies with 20 to 200 employees that use Salesforce and feel they are not getting value from it.

01

Units sold with no follow-up

The reservation lives in the salesperson's WhatsApp, the quote in a spreadsheet, and nobody knows the real status of each unit for sure. Two salespeople can offer the same apartment without realizing it.

02

Messy after-sales

Warranty claims arrive by email, by phone and through the project's chat group. There is no record per unit, nobody knows what is pending, and the customer calls again.

03

Reports that don't reconcile with accounting

Sales quotes one figure, finance another. Payment plans live in Salesforce, collections in the accounting system, and reconciling them takes days every month.

04

The salesperson leaves and takes the book with them

Customers, conversations and agreements stay on their phone. Whoever replaces them starts from zero, and the company loses track of what was promised.

05

Salesforce configured for a different business

It was set up with generic B2B sales stages. No projects, no units, no lock when a unit is reserved. The team ends up working outside the system.

What we do in two weeks

We follow a unit's full journey, from the moment someone asks about it until the last installment is collected. At each step we compare how it should work, how it works today, and what Salesforce does about it.

Lead

Where it comes in, who handles it, how long the first reply takes and how many are lost without a record.

Quote

How it is built, with which prices, who approves it and whether the unit gets reserved or stays open for others.

Contract

What information reaches legal, how long the contract takes and how many times data has to be requested again.

Handover

How the handover is coordinated, how claims are recorded and who is accountable for the warranty.

Collections

How payment plans are tracked, how late payments are detected and how it reconciles with accounting.

WEEK 1

We listen and review

45-to-60-minute interviews with 4 or 5 key people: management, sales, after-sales and finance. In parallel, we review your current Salesforce configuration: objects, stages, automations, reports, users and licenses.

WEEK 2

We measure and prioritize

We cross what you told us with what the system shows. We put a cost on each problem in hours, lost sales or delayed collections, and build the 90-day plan. We close with a results presentation meeting.

What you get

A short report written for the owner or general manager to read, not a technical manual. Each problem comes with a number next to it: what it costs you today in time or money, and what it would cost to fix.

The 90-day plan orders the fixes by impact and effort, with estimated hours for each one. Use it to request quotes from anyone, to do it with your own team, or to start with us.

If you decide to implement with Zarasa, the audit fee is credited toward the project.

What's in the report

  1. The 5 problems costing you mostDescribed with real examples from your operation, not in the abstract.
  2. What each one costs youEstimated in team hours, sales at risk or delayed collections.
  3. Prioritized 90-day planWhat to fix first, what next, and what is not worth touching yet.
  4. Estimated hours per initiativeSo you can budget with your team or with any vendor.
  5. Results presentationWe walk through the report with you and answer questions.

Fixed price: USD 1,900. Two weeks from the first interview.

Construction companies that already brought order to their sales with Salesforce

Two of the projects we did with construction companies, with the results they measured themselves.

Mexico · Residential

~200 people · 50+ salespeople · 10 projects

Ten projects at once, without handing customers between salespeople or selling the same unit twice

Each salesperson knew one or two projects and handed the customer off when they asked about another. Two salespeople could offer the same apartment without knowing it, and management had no view of construction progress or the real state of sales.

We adapted Sales Cloud to the way a construction company works: projects with their construction stage, units with their features and price, and a sale that moves through visit, reservation, payment plan, contract and handover. When a unit is reserved, it is locked for the rest of the team.

Costa Rica · Residential

60 people · 10 salespeople

The whole customer relationship stays with the company, even when the salesperson leaves

Each salesperson ran their own deals and talked to customers from their personal phone. When one left, they took the customers, the quotes and every conversation with them. Management could not supervise service or track visits.

We implemented Sales Cloud connected to WhatsApp: messages are saved on each customer's record, quotes are generated from the system, units are locked at reservation and again at contract stage, and legal receives the sale with everything needed to prepare the contract.

Why Zarasa

01

We know the business

Four construction companies in the region already work with us. We know what a unit lock, a payment plan and a handover with warranty claims are, and how to configure them in Salesforce.

02

Certified partner

We are a Salesforce Consulting Partner with 78 certifications, more than 120 delivered projects and a 4.85 out of 5 rating on AppExchange across 19 reviews.

03

Long relationships

A US shipping company has trusted us with its Salesforce platform for years. We prefer customers who stay to projects that close and get forgotten.

04

The audit is what they value most

Our customers tell us the most useful part was the initial diagnosis: understanding what was going on before spending on configuration. That is why we offer it as a standalone service, at a fixed price.

Let's talk for 20 minutes

I'm Mathias Möller, co-founder of Zarasa. I have been implementing Salesforce for 19 years, for companies across Latin America and the United States, and the construction companies we work with taught me that the problem is almost never the tool: it is how the business was loaded into it.

If you like, we talk for 20 minutes and I tell you plainly whether the audit is right for you. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too.

Frequently asked questions

Is it useful if we are not on Salesforce yet?

Yes. If you are evaluating Salesforce, the audit reviews how you work today (spreadsheets, WhatsApp, another CRM) and tells you what would need to be configured, in what order and how many hours it takes. You leave with a concrete plan instead of a generic quote.

How much of my team's time does it take?

Four to six hours in total, spread over two weeks: a 45-to-60-minute interview with each of the 4 or 5 key people (management, sales, after-sales, finance) and read-only access to your Salesforce configuration. We do the rest.

What happens after the audit?

The report and the 90-day plan are yours. You can implement it with your own team, with another vendor or with Zarasa. If you do it with us, the audit fee is credited toward the project.

Is it on-site or remote?

Remote, by video call, on your schedule. We have an office in Guatemala and a team in the Central America time zone. If the project warrants it, we arrange a visit.

What does the price include, and what does it not?

It includes the interviews, the configuration review, the report with the five problems and their cost, the prioritized 90-day plan with estimated hours and a results presentation meeting. It does not include Salesforce licenses or implementation hours; those go in the plan, with their estimate.

Let's start by finding out what it's costing you
